Because the Earth is divided into 24 main time zones, the local time in one country can be many hours ahead of or behind another — which matters whenever you schedule an international call, book a flight, join a live stream or trade across markets. How this world clock works
Each clock is calculated in your browser using the official IANA time-zone database, so it automatically accounts for daylight saving time (DST) where it applies. Pick a location using the button at the top, the country selector in the top-right corner, or the footer — your choice is remembered on every page, so the calculators and the clock always match the place you care about.
Why local time differs between countries
Time zones are offsets from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Countries to the east of the prime meridian are generally ahead of UTC, while those to the west are behind. Some countries also shift their clocks forward in summer for daylight saving, which is why the gap between two cities can change by an hour during the year.

The time is generated from your device clock and converted to each country's official time zone, including daylight saving adjustments. For best accuracy, keep your device's date and time set to update automatically.
How do I change the location shown at the top?
Use the “Change location” button in the highlighted panel, tap any country card below, or use the country selector in the top-right corner or the footer. Your selection is saved and applied across the whole site.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Each clock uses the IANA time-zone rules for its country, so summer-time and winter-time changes are applied automatically without any action from you.
